Danica Graphic Design Studio is a small, home based studio in Maylands, working with businesses right across Perth and Western Australia. We have been doing this since 2001, so most of the problems you are about to describe are ones we have already solved for somebody else.
Typical work is a logo and brand identity for a business just starting out, a menu that needs reprinting before the weekend, a run of business cards, a brochure, a pull up banner for an expo, or a website that finally replaces the one built a decade ago. Some clients come for a single job. Most come back.
Design is only half of it. Artwork still has to be printed properly, and the photographs still have to exist. We look after both. Printing is produced by Greenlea Print, our own Perth print shop, which has been printing for local businesses since 1984, and photography is shot in house rather than bought from a stock library.
That matters more than it sounds. Most of the delay in a design job happens in the gaps between suppliers, where the designer blames the printer and the printer blames the file. There are no gaps here.
Every job is quoted before it starts and there are no hidden costs. Unless it is genuinely large, most work is finished within 24 hours. If you are starting from nothing, the business packages bundle a logo, business cards, photography, a website and social media images at a fixed price, which is usually cheaper than commissioning each piece separately.
